This Data Privacy Policy describes how GARIHUB LIMITED ("We", "Us" or "Our") collects, uses and discloses Users ("You", "Your") personal data when you access or use our applications, websites, content, products, and services (collectively the "Services"). Our mobile application, GARIHUB, is a technological all-in-one hailing app.

Data Controller

Garihub Limited is the data controller and processor of your personal data within Kenya and may share such information outside Kenya with third party service providers with your prior consent. Your personal data is collected to ensure efficiency and improvement in provision of our Services.

For a better experience while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personal identification information. The information that we request will be retained by us and used in accordance with best data privacy practices stipulated under the Data Protection Act, 2019. Users include all passengers, service customers and third party service providers contracted by us.

I. Personal Data

To use or access our Services, you must register an account with Garihub and provide us with personal data, which information is used to identify and contact you. Such information includes your official names, email address, phone number, age, ID number, physical address and preferred mode of payment. Third party service provider's information such as automobile registration numbers, insurance and valid license is collected as well.

II. Usage Data

This is data that automatically goes to record when you access or use our services. Such log data includes IP address, services utilized, time and date, type of internet browser, language, mobile network data, application crashes, type of device, hardware and software used. We collect information related to promotion referrals, trip charges, cancellation fees, payments made, preferred mode of payment, distance covered and any other diagnostic data.

III. Communications Data

Users can contact each other through our application and websites in order to schedule, request, receive and deliver services. We record information on the mobile numbers, call logs, text messages, time, date and user location. Conversations via phone are recorded with user consent and text/mail information is retained for future reference. Users may be requested to rate the quality of services for assessment and improvement.

IV. Location Data

User information on physical location is necessary for use of our services. If a user turns on location in their device it enables us to collect data on their geographical location. A customer can manually key in their location when requesting for services and third party service providers use the same information to track customers and navigate traffic.

Use of Personal Data

• To provide and maintain our Services, including monitoring usage.
• To manage your account and registration as a user of the Service.
• For the performance of a contract with you.
• To contact you by email, telephone, SMS, or push notifications about updates and services.
